About Dr. Monica Agudelo, DDS

Dr. Monica Agudelo is a trusted cosmetic and Invisalign dentist with 27 years of experience, proudly serving patients in Pembroke Pines, Sunrise, and nearby South Florida communities. With over 17 years of focused Invisalign experience, Dr. Agudelo is among the most qualified Diamond Providers in the region — known for her compassion, precision, and consistently life-changing results.
Originally from Colombia, she earned her dental degree from Universidad Autónoma de Manizales in 1996. After relocating to the U.S., she completed her DDS at the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2007.
Her passion for Invisalign began during her time at UF and has only grown stronger through elite training programs, including Molis Coaching, Alpha Science, and Invisalign’s official master certification tracks.

When she’s not transforming smiles at Horizon Dental Care, she enjoys life at home in Weston with her husband of 26 years, Luis Alejandro, and their two sons, Sebastian and Alejandro. A world traveler, school volunteer, and international humanitarian, Dr. Agudelo regularly participates in medical outreach programs providing dental care to underserved communities abroad.
